Hello! I'm Mrs. Christin Martin

Welcome to the Digital Academy of Florida's Gifted Education Program! I'm so excited to partner with you and your family as we explore, create, solve problems, and grow together this year.

I believe gifted education should be more than simply giving students "more work." My goal is to provide meaningful learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, embrace creativity, develop leadership skills, and discover their unique strengths.

Whether we're tackling a project-based learning challenge, discussing a fascinating current event, exploring STEM concepts, or diving into a great book together, I strive to create a classroom where curiosity is celebrated and every student feels inspired to learn.

About Me

I've been an educator for over 20 years, and I have the privilege of serving students in a variety of roles, including:

College Professor

I earned my bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Central Florida and have completed several graduate degrees in education and instructional design. I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Gifted Education at the University of Central Florida.
