Gifted education at Digital Academy of Florida is designed to challenge students intellectually while helping them develop the executive functioning, creativity, collaboration, and leadership skills needed for success in school and beyond. Our program emphasizes authentic learning experiences through inquiry, project-based learning, and exploration of students' passions. These approaches align with widely recognized gifted education best practices emphasizing differentiation, higher-order thinking, and personalized learning.

📖 Gifted Readers Society (Elementary)
Students explore engaging novels with fellow readers through guided discussions, interactive activities, and friendly competitions that encourage a lifelong love of reading.
📚 Pages & Perspectives (Middle School)
Students dive into thought-provoking novels while strengthening critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills through collaborative book club meetings.
🏆 Book Bowl
At the end of the year, students can put their reading knowledge to the test in a fun, team-based competition featuring books from our optional book clubs. Students who score 90% or higher on each book's quiz earn special prizes throughout the year.
